The AE20/ 21 is an entry level inverted microscope, designed for routine clinical applications and users who wants a simple inverted microscope with brightfield and phase contrast methods at affordable budget. Best optical clarity and flatness
The AE20/ 21 is equipped with the Colour Corrected Infinity Optical System [CCIS®] optics for best optical clarity. Binocular and Trinocular observation head are available for digital image documentation or video projection purposes. The Siedentopf head allows the adjustment of the interpupillary distance. The eyepiece has a large F.N.20 for flatness on the field of view. Quartz halogen 6v/30w Koehler illumination provides bright and even illumination.

Easy change between brightfield and phase contrast methods
With the precentered ELWD N.A. 0.30 condenser with long working distance 72mm, petri dishes or flasks as high as 180mm can be accommodated well on the stage. The two annular rings on the slider allow quick change between brightfield and phase contrast methods.

Ergonomic design for best user’s comfort and convenience
In addition to the observation head inclined at 45° that gives a comfortable observation angle, focusing knobs are also located at low position for control at the most confortable posture. Changing objectives is easy with the tampered glass and the side facing nosepiece that allows the nosepiece to be viewed without removing the specimen from the stage. The fixed stage is hard-coated against abrasion and wear. An optional low position coaxial control mechanical stage is also available.
